noob2root is a personal security-research site. It is built to collect as little about you as possible. This page explains what that means in practice.
The short version
- No account or login is needed to read anything here.
- No advertising, and no third-party analytics or tracking.
- No tracking cookies. Fonts and images are served from this site, not third parties.
- Nothing about you is sold, rented or shared for marketing.
What is stored in your browser
The site remembers your light/dark theme choice in your browser's local storage. That preference stays on your device, is not personal information, and is never sent anywhere. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Server & security logs
Like almost every website, the underlying hosting and content-delivery infrastructure automatically processes standard request data — such as your IP address, browser user-agent and the pages requested — to serve the site, keep it available, and protect it against attacks and abuse. These logs are used only for operating and securing the site and are not used to build a profile of you.
If you email
If you contact hello@noob2root.com, your email and its contents are used only to read and reply to your message. They are not added to any mailing list.
Your choices
Because the site sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics, there is nothing to opt out of. You can browse with an ad-blocker, a VPN or Tor without losing functionality, and clear the stored theme preference at any time.
Children
This site is intended for security professionals, students and enthusiasts, and is not directed at children under 13.
